After eleven years spent in Milan, Pietro has decided to return to live in the place where he grew up: Malborghetto, a small village at the foot of the Friulian Dolomites.
His reality is the mountain, the place of his imagination is the sea. As a child, returning from a walk in the woods, Pietro often locked himself in his room to read novels about pirates, sailing ships, admirals and distant islands.
A few decades later, the contrast between the place where he lives and those he imagines became the main inspiration for his poems and illustrations.
